What is the difference between the MetaProp Bridge, the MetaProp Accelerator and the MetaProp Pre-Accelerator?
The MetaProp Bridge at Columbia University is the first ever cross-border PropTech accelerator. The London and NYC-based 20-week program connects up to 6 select PropTech startups from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to award-winning investors, experienced mentors and diverse real estate, technology and institutional partners in North America. The program features bespoke educational content and culminates with a Demo Day Roadshow in 5 North American markets.
The flagship MetaProp Accelerator @ Columbia University is the world’s leading program for high growth PropTech startups and is based in the heart of NYC’s Silicon Alley. Each year, up to 10 of the best technology driven real estate industry ideas are selected to participate in intensive education, mentorship and growth hacking programs, culminating in exclusive bi-coastal Demo Days for partners, investors, VCs and media. Founded in 2015, the accelerator boasts 100+ mentors, 10 renowned corporate partners and widespread media coverage from the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes, TechCrunch, Inman, EG, Nikkei, and more.
The 8-week MetaProp Pre-Accelerator @ Columbia University focuses on companies that may be very early in the startup process. It is a structured program with a very short timeframe that focuses on big ideas from first-time entrepreneurs, students, recent graduates, and scholars. Programming tends to revolve around mentoring, validation of business idea, a clear understanding of the customer development strategy, market and competitive analysis, a minimum viable product, and communications. The Pre-Accelerator culminates with a “Graduation Defense” panel in front of industry experts and respected academics.
